The challenge

Photography is where AI production is judged hardest. A film moves past a flaw in a twenty-fourth of a second; a still sits on a product page at full resolution while someone decides whether to spend money.

The idea

Treat every frame as a photograph rather than an output. Pick a camera position, commit to one light, and hold the product accurate — packaging, material, logo, colour and scale — before anything else is judged.

The production.

  1. 01

    Camera discipline

    Real focal lengths and real working distances. Most frames that read as AI are shot from a position no photographer would choose.

  2. 02

    One light per scene

    A single dominant source with believable falloff, rather than the evenly lit everything that gives generated imagery away.

  3. 03

    Product accuracy

    Packaging, weave, leather grain, metal finish and logo lockups locked against references before any styling work.

  4. 04

    Human scale

    Where a person appears, they exist to give the product scale and to be caught mid-action rather than posed at the camera.

  5. 05

    Retouch & grade

    Graded as a set per client so a page of stills reads as one shoot, and reviewed at 100% before delivery.
