The challenge

Three very different jobs under one brand: a lifestyle brand movie that had to feel cast and shot across a city, a skincare film that had to hold up to dermatological claims on screen, and a fragrance campaign that lives or dies on how light moves through glass.

The idea

Treat each as its own production rather than three cuts of one look. The brand movie runs warm, handheld and populated; the skincare film is clinical, bright and close; the fragrance work is saturated and still. What carries across is finish, not style.

The production.

  1. 01

    Casting language

The brand movie needed a cast that reads as a real range of people in real places — the whole premise is that the brand feels different to everyone.

  2. 02

    Claim-safe product work

For NovAge+, packaging, applicator and texture were locked to the real product before any claim text appeared on screen alongside it.

  3. 03

    Glass and liquid

The fragrance work is built on refraction. Bottles were lit to behave like glass — caustics, edge highlights and colour bleed — rather than rendered as clean objects.

  4. 04

Type as part of the frame

Each film carries burnt-in campaign lines, so compositions were built with the type in mind instead of adding it afterwards.

  5. 05

    Grade & finish

Graded per film rather than as a set, then finished to a common standard so all three sit under one brand.

Three jobs, one brand. What carries across is finish, not style.

Fragrance is refraction. Skincare is claims. The brand film is people.
